by the time that I got home from work
my wife was already asleep on the couch
so, I made myself another frozen pepperoni pizza for dinner
because when it comes to cooking, I’m something of a slouch
oh, I did add some extra mozzarella cheese topping
because my favorite part of the pizza is the cheese
when it was done, I woke her up since I knew she hadn’t eaten
and she preferred more toppings but still seemed to be pleased
it’s easy to cook pizza on my little spinning Presto pizzazz
that I first bought long ago when our old oven wasn’t working
then I went upstairs to my room to eat and turned on my TV
later falling asleep as thoughts and dreams were nearby lurking
sorry, if you were hoping for some kind words of wit and wisdom
but I seem to be all out of those kinds of words today
instead I wrote this silly little poem after eating my frozen pizza
and like my pizza, it isn’t much but I went ahead and posted it, anyway

At 12:30 AM, I’m going to pop a frozen pizza in the oven! Very effective form of advertisement (I do not have the Pizzazz just yet but I want it now!).

LOL. I really like the Pizzazz. You can add toppings while it is spinning and cooking. Just be careful not to touch the hot parts, of course. It’s nice to be able to see the pizza cooking, so that you can easily cook it just how you like it. I got the first one many, many years ago when our oven wasn’t working. I saw it in a grocery store and thought it was worth trying. After five years or so that one stopped working, so we bought another one because the whole family is addicted to using it to cook pizza now. The newer one doesn’t seem to be made as well as it was years ago. For example, the spinning plate is a little harder for me to get into its position, but otherwise it still makes cooking the pizza easy and quick. It really gets used a lot in our house.
