mad passionate love

her beauty leaves me awestruck
and I can’t put it into words
and I’ve never understood what it has to do
with the bees and the birds
I suppose I should be thinking about making
mad passionate love to her all of the time
but I find myself just wishing to go for a walk
and to hold her hand in mine
wanting to share all of my innermost thoughts
with someone that cares and understands me
and dwell in the beauty that I see inside of her
then together we can make love most passionately

you are a multi-layered vegetable
with each new layer I pull off
I find you more delicious
more flavorful
than before
I am consumed with unrequited passion
to continue exploring your depths
to reach your soft, sweet inner core
and eat you
if I were an amoeba
I would envelope you and absorb you
I would open up my nucleus and share it with you
I would take my DNA and wrap it around you
like a necklace
if I were a star
I would subject you to my hottest, most intense nuclear flames
I would sear you back into your basic atomic constituents
and pull your pieces into my inner furnace
where I would fuse with you for five billion years
until we collapsed together
