Shortly after I started blogging, I noticed that bloggers were nominating each other for awards. Originally, I was thinking I would never be nominated for an award and so it was not something that I would have to worry about. Then, I noticed some bloggers that don’t want to be nominated for any awards. That seemed like a good idea to me, at first. The awards do seem a little like chain letters. Then I began to become more aware of the community nature of bloggers and I came to the conclusion that the nominations were all a part of this sharing process that is the heart of blogging. So, this page is for my Award Nominations. It appears that with each nomination comes some responsibility, however I hope everyone will forgive me in taking some time to fulfill my duties.

In the meantime, please check out the blogs on my blog roll.

Robert, you are a wonderful artist and teacher. I usually spend most of my blog “reading” time focused on just reading poetry, but when I stumbled on to your site I couldn’t stop reading and enjoying the artistry of your paintings and photography. Thank you for sharing your talents on your blog!
